How to Create a Meebo Page
Meebo is an instant messaging service that enables users to access their friend lists from multiple instant messaging programs including AOL Instant Messenger, Facebook Chat, MySpaceIM, Google Talk and many more, all in one place. Meebo makes it easy to chat on the go since, unlike most other instant messaging programs, it requires no installation. Users simply log into their accounts from any computer and instantly see a pop-up window with a list of all of their currently online friends. In addition, users can customize their own personal Meebo homepage upon completing the Meebo registration process.

Visit the Meebo website.

Fill out your email address and full name into the corresponding text boxes under "Join Meebo." Click "Register."

Choose a Meebo ID that is at least four characters in length and type it into the "Meebo ID" box. A green check indicates that your ID is valid and available, while a red "X" indicates that your ID is either too short or already taken.

Type a password that you can easily remember into the "password" box. Your password must be at least five characters long.

Select your gender and age and then click "Finish."

Select from the list of social networking programs to sign into. This will incorporate any preexisting friends lists you have into your Meebo account. Click "Skip This Step" if you are not a member of any other social networking sites.

Click "Preferences" and then "Appearance" to add a background image to your Meebo page.

Navigate to "Preferences" and then "IM Settings" to set your sound, instant messaging history and emoticon settings as well as to choose whether you want to allow people on your friend list to contact you.

Select "Sign Onto More Accounts" at any time to add friends from other social networking programs in the future.
