Meeting single women is naturally an important first step towards developing a romantic relationship. However, meeting single people isn't always simple. it can require a little planning and thought first, in order to ensure you'll be meeting people of the preferred age and personality type. Fortunately, the actual process can be quite straightforward, although it requires confidence and the ability to regularly overcome any shyness.

Instructions

1. Throw yourself into relaxed, social environments. Preferably these environments should be relevant to the type of girl you'd like to meet, as women of different ages tend to frequent different places. Avoid loud areas (such as bars and clubs) where it's difficult for conversation to develop naturally.

2. Initiate conversation. People often worry too much about their opening line; don't bother thinking of one. Instead, just give a genuine smile and ask a positive question to start the conversation --- for example, "Oh Hi! Great necklace, did you get that from around here?"

3. Be friendly. Although you may feel self-conscious about talking to new people, you should realize that it can also provide a great rush of excitement. Acknowledge to yourself any sense of nervousness, but learn to interpret this feeling as excitement rather than fear. Doing so will make you feel more positive and confident about meeting new people.

4. Allow the conversation to develop naturally. If you're inexperienced in talking to new people, you may have already planned some topics of conversation to introduce; although this can be useful initially, you should develop your ability to think on your feet and begin to feel more comfortable improvising.

5. Ask whether she's single --- for example, make a joke: "So, should I be worried about a body-builder boyfriend cutting this conversation short and chasing me down the street?" For many people this can be the most difficult part about talking to new women, but it shouldn't be feared; expressing interest might make you feel vulnerable, but it's unlikely to have terrible results. Even if the woman isn't single, it's likely she'll appreciate the interest and take it as a compliment that you asked.
