How to Get Masquerade Masks
Masquerade masks are often worn during regional festivals, for a costume party or to celebrate a holiday such as New Year's Eve. If you are attending an event that requires a masquerade mask, you might think your only option is to buy a premade mask from a costume shop. However, you can make your own customized and decorative masquerade mask using materials that are readily available at arts and crafts supply stores.

1
Place a blank face mask onto newspaper to protect your table or desk.
-
2
Cover the front of the face mask with a thin layer of tacky glue, then drape satin fabric over the mask. Smooth down the fabric using your fingers.

3
Trim excess fabric around the edges of the mask and around the eye holes using scissors.
-
4
Squeeze a line of glitter glue around the eye holes and around the outside edge of the mask. Press plastic jewels onto the glitter glue to create a border around the outside edge and around the eye holes. Allow the glitter glue to dry for 30 minutes.

5
Squeeze a pea-sized dollop of tacky glue onto the left side of the mask, and press the quill of a large ostrich plume onto the glue. Squeeze more tacky glue over the quill, and press plastic jewels along the quill to disguise it. Allow the tacky glue to dry for 30 minutes.
