How to Get the Gippal's Sphere in "Final Fantasy X-2"
In "Final Fantasy X-2," the Mi'ihen Highroad Mystery Quest has several different outcomes. In the quest, you must follow around different characters and gather clues to determine who is the correct suspect. Your actions throughout Chapters One through Five actually determine who will be the suspect. To receive the Gippal's Sphere, you must successfully accuse Rin in the quest. Although Rin is the most difficult character to accuse in the quest, he will give you the Gippal's Sphere as a reward.

Talk to the Al Bhed woman in Highland Central in Chapter One. She is on the Mi'hen road screen with three small machina.

Enter the agency after the Chocobo Mission in Chapter Two. You will see a cutscene of Rin exiting the agency quickly.

Complete the Mayhem Machina mission and dismantle at least seven rogue machinas in Chapter Three. After you complete the mission, the camera will pan to the audience. Press "X" when you see Rin.

Visit North Newroad immediately after completing the Mayhem Machina mission. Talk to Shinra. She will tell you about a dropped Commsphere. You will now have Shinra's Commsphere, or camera, available to you for the rest of the quest.

Use the Commsphere to investigate unusual scenes in Chapter Four. There are three levels to this sequence. You must switch between the Commsphere's seven different angles and press "Circle" when you see something unusual. Each time, Rin will make a comment about the scene.

Use the following sequence for the first level: Camera Seven, Camera Two, Camera Four and Camera Eight. Remember to press "Circle" during each scene to call Rin.

Use the following sequence for the second level: Camera One, Camera Four and Camera Five.

Use the following sequence for the third level: Camera One, Camera Five, Camera One, Camera Five and Camera Four.

Switch to Camera Seven. Press "Circle" and Rin appears to say, "Everything is fine." Switch between Camera One and Camera Seven until Rin disappears, pressing "Circle" on Camera Seven each time. Once Rin disappears, speak to him. Accuse him by selecting "Accuse" from the dialog options that appear. Rin will give you the Gippal's Sphere as a reward.
