How to Upload to Ustream
Ustream TV was launched in March 2007 with the purpose of creating a platform for those serving abroad in the military to communicate with family and loved ones. The website now allows anyone with a webcam and Internet access to broadcast an event live from their computer. Users may also choose to have a live ongoing broadcast of a particular area; for example, a bird's nest as eggs begin to hatch. It is a relatively straightforward process to create an account and begin broadcasting with Ustream.

Plug in your webcam.

Log in to your Ustream account. If you do not have an account, create one by clicking "Sign Up" at the upper right hand corner of the Ustream.tv home page and following the prompts.

Select "Start Broadcasting" and click on the "Create a show" link on the top right hand corner of the page.

Enter a name for your broadcast when prompted. You will see a field to enter this text. When you are satisfied with the broadcast's name, click "Create" below the text field.

Click "Allow" when you are prompted to give permission for the Ustream platform to access your webcam.

Click the green "Start Broadcast" link at the bottom right hand corner of your Ustream home page. Click "Record" next to the "Start Broadcast" link to save a copy of your broadcast.
