How to Make an Age-to-Sex Graph in Excel
If you have access to Microsoft Excel, then you can create an advanced graph that reflects your age and sex data for a project. Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program that allows users to input data into cells. You then can convert that data into customizable, graphical representations. Customize the graph to reflect your personal color choices.

Open a new Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. You can access the Excel icon on your Start menu.

Click on cell "A1." Column A will represent all females in your study. Enter the ages of females in beginning with cell "A1." Press "Enter" to move to cell "A2" and so on.

Click cell "B1." Column B will represent all males in your study. Enter the ages of all the males beginning with cell "B1."

Click cell "C1." Column C will represent all transgender people in you study. Enter their ages beginning in cell "C1."

Click cell "A1" again. This press "Control" and "A" together to highlight your data set.

Click "Insert" on your toolbar, and then select a graph style. For this graph, a column or bar graph works well because you will be able to see the men, women and transgender people in relation to one another on the graph. Click your graph choice, and it will appear on your spreadsheet.
