Instructions

Complain to the dentist who fitted your dentures. The dentist is the most immediate provider of service and the one who is most likely to help you immediately with the problem you're having with your dentures. Make sure that you can explain clearly what's wrong and ask for a way to fix the problem.

    • 2

File a complaint with manufacturer of the dentures. A customer service representative for the company will listen to your concerns and report your complaints to a superior so that the company can attempt to improve the product. You can also, once your complaint has been filed, ask that the manufacturer do something to alleviate the problems caused by the product.

Contact your state's representative for the American Dental Association. Every state has a branch office for the American Dental Association. If your problems haven't been resolved by contacting the company and the dentist who fitted you, then you can report to this body as a way of making your displeasure and situation known on a larger scale. This is especially effective if the dentist is a member and if the company has to be on good terms with the ADA.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have enough cause, such as personal damages or a violation of a guarantee or contract, you can file a civil suit against a company or a dentist.
