How to Draw a Werewolf Hand
While werewolves and all things supernatural might seem to be a product of modern times and the need for entertainment, the first known mention of a werewolf occurred in the late 1500s in Germany. A man named Peter Stubbe dressed in the likeness of a wolf and committed crimes so savage that the term "werewolf" evolved. Capturing the beastly-yet-human quality of a werewolf hand is an essential part of drawing a werewolf accurately, and is also necessary to create as a design, if you're planning on making your own werewolf costume.

1
Draw a standard human hand with five fingers, thumb included. If you wish to draw a lifesize werewolf hand, simply trace your own hand.
-
2
Shorten the fingers by an inch or so. Do this by erasing the top of each finger and drawing a new rounded top of the finger an inch lower.
-
-
3
Enlarge the knuckles. Draw large circles around the spots where all your knuckles should be.
-
4
Draw enormous hook shapes coming out of the top of each finger. The hook shapes should be as long as each finger and curved downwards.
-
5
Go over all your lines, shading in all the shapes together so they seem more unified. You can even add flicks of hair or fur, by making tick marks with your pencil.
