How to Find Themes for Tumblr

The standard theme you get when you create a blog on Tumblr is not necessarily ugly, but it may not be the theme you want to keep for your blog over the long term. Tumblr provides a Theme Garden where you can browse a wide variety of different free and paid themes, all of which you can easily install with no HTML code knowledge. Tumblr lets you browse themes by featured, premium paid, recent and popular.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Tumblr account.

2. Hold your mouse over the bottom of the page, but do not scroll down. A series of footer links appear.

3. Click the "Themes" link to go to Tumblr's Theme Garden.

4. Click the "Premium" tab to browse paid themes. You are prompted to enter a credit card number when you install a premium theme.

5. Click "Recent" to browse recently uploaded free themes.

6. Click "Popular" to browse the most used free and paid themes.

7. Click the "Install" button under a theme to apply it to your Tumblr account.
