How to Get Your Facebook Birthdays on the Google Calendar

Keep track of birthdays by linking Facebook with Google Calendar.

Facebook is a great tool for keeping track of birthdays for friends and family, and this information can easily be ported from Facebook to Google Calendar so that you can see approaching birthdays with a glance at your calendar. Facebook provides access to Web calendar feeds for both the events and birthday calendars that are built into Facebook. Using the Web calendar feed, you can quickly get Google Calendar to display birthdays for all Facebook contacts who share this information.

Instructions

1. Launch a Web browser and navigate to Facebook.

2. Enter your email address and password, then click "Login."

3. Click "Events" in the sidebar, then "Birthdays."

4. Click "Export Events" at the bottom of the page.

5. Copy the Web calendar feed beginning with "webcal://" and then click "Close."

6. Navigate to Google Calendar.

7. Enter your Google account user name and password, then click "Sign in."

8. Click "Add" at the bottom-left and select "Add by URL."

9. Paste the Web calendar feed into the "URL" text box and then click "Add." Birthdays will now be displayed on your Google Calendar.
