How to Attract Spirits Into My Home

How to Attract Spirits Into My Home thumbnail
Summoning a ghost or spirit as not a parlor game, but a serious endeavor.

Summoning spirits should never be attempted on a whim or as a game. Without taking proper care, you may attract negative spirits or harmful energies. There are several ways to attract them to your home, among them witch balls, spells and Ouija boards. The latter must be done carefully least you attract negative energies or spirits. Psychic Erin Pavlina cautions that we attract what we emanate. If we radiate apprehension or fear, we open ourselves to dark entities and energies that seek to devour our souls.

Wtich balls in windows are said to summon positive spirits.

Hang glass balls that are either colored or filled with trinkets such as glitter, tinsel, feathers, beads or sand in your windows. Wiccans or witches believe that these "witch balls" will attract benevolent spirits to your home.

Build a small shrine or altar set aside for the beneficial spirits. It can be embellished with pictures, plants, statues, fresh flowers in vases or other items. Some Wiccans place a pair of small dishes on the altar, one containing bright coins, the other used for offerings of wine or other alcohol, milk, candy or other sweets. Additionally, you can include a censer in which to burn your favorite incense and a small statue of a fairy or other spirit.

Cleansing rituals are inviting to positive spirits and drive away dark entities.

Purify your home each spring by performing a cleansing ritual that makes your home more inviting to positive spirits and wards off dark entities. In one suggested ritual, you sprinkle salt over outside doorways and all windowsills. In the room where you sense the most negative energy, light a white candle. Using a fire proof bowl, combine one tablespoon each of powdered or dried thistle, powdered garlic, ground cloves, peppermint and a handful of sage, dried oak leaves or sweet grass. Carefully set fire to the bowl's contents so they smoke and carry the bowl from room to room, repeating, in each room: "In the name of the Eternal Lady and Lord I bid thee part. I consecrate and clear this space. Let nothing but joy linger here." Place the bowl with the white candle, let the mixture burn to ash. Scatter the ash over your lawn, flower bed or garden.

Use an Ouija board to attract spirits; however, use it with extreme caution. Psychic Pavilina reports that it took her years to understand that "you are what you emanate." She learned to use the board only when she was in a loving mood and walking in white light. She suggests a mantra, such as "I am surrounded by God's white light and, in that light, I am protected." You can create your own mantra using God, or Jesus or an archangel. In this positive state, surrounded by white light, you can attract light entities and thwart darker ones.

Summoning spells are powerful and dangerous.
Summoning spells are powerful and dangerous.

Cast a summoning spell; however, done incorrectly, these spells can be dangerous. You should be well-versed in casting before trying this. Make a large red spot in the center of a piece of paper. Close to the spot write "Yes," "No," "Maybe," and "I Don't Know," spacing them apart from one another. Thread the wool string through the eye of the needle and hold it above the paper. "I call upon the ghost/spirit of _________" (name the one you're calling). While you repeat these words three times, spin the needle with one hand. Then, still holding the needle above the paper, ask your question. The needle should point to the answer: Yes, No, Maybe or I Don't Know.
