Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 is presentation software that you can use to make a professional looking presentation in minutes. The Microsoft Ribbon in PowerPoint 2007 can aid you in your creative process, but the number of choices can seem overwhelming at first. The key to being successful with creating a PowerPoint presentation is to understand the basic features first. Once you've got the basics down, you'll be able to add bells and whistles to make a PowerPoint presentation that is truly your own.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a maximum of seven words per line and seven lines per page for legibility. Do not exceed 25 words per slide. To keep your words to a minimum, be brief and give an overview of your presentation; don't attempt to outline your whole speech on a slide.
