How to Log Into Multiple Google Accounts

How to Log Into Multiple Google Accounts thumbnail
Google supports multiple sign-in for Gmail, Calendar, Voice and more.

Each Google account has its own separate Gmail inbox and address, calendar, documents and other settings. Users can have multiple Google accounts, for example, to have separate work and personal email addresses. By default, you can only log in to one Google account at the same time. But Google has a multiple sign-in feature that lets users log in to up to three Google accounts at once. This feature is incompatible with the offline Gmail and offline calendar features. If a Google service isn't compatible with multiple sign-in, it'll use the default account you signed in with.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the multiple sign-in settings page on google.com.

    • 2

Click the "On" option on the page.

    • 3

Click the check boxes to the left of each of the four messages under the "On" option.

    • 4

Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

    • 5

Click your email address at the top-right corner of a Google page and click "Sign In to Another Account."

    • 6

Type the other account's email address and password and click "Sign In" to link the accounts together.

Tips & Warnings

  • Switch between accounts by clicking the account menu to the left of "Settings" on a Google page.
