How to Mix Vodka With Crystal Light
Many people who are serious about losing weight want to control of their calories, but still like to indulge in a cocktail once in a while. You can stick with light beer or white wine, but if your alcohol of choice is a mixed drink, the calorie counts start to get higher. One solution is to mix vodka, a lower-calorie liquor, with zero-calorie Crystal Light. This fruity drink mix can be the basis for many creative cocktails while adding none of the calories that sodas and fruit juices would give. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Pitcher
- Long-handled spoon
- Good quality vodka
- Shot glass
- Cocktail glasses
- Ice
- Straws
- Garnish

Open a tub of Crystal Light powder and pour it into a pitcher. Add 2 quarts of cold, filtered water. Stir the mixture very thoroughly to ensure there is no powder left at the bottom of the pitcher.

Measure the vodka for your recipe into a cocktail glass. Use either a tall glass or a rocks glass. Fill the glass with ice to the top. Pour Crystal Light onto the ice and vodka.

Add a long straw and top the drink with a fruity garnish. Try orange wedges, lemon slices or a cherry on a stick.

Tips & Warnings
Experiment with different flavors to make a variety of cocktails. Try lemonade for a classic lemon drop, orange sunrise for a screwdriver, or make a cosmopolitan substitute with cranberry apple flavored Crystal Light.
Crystal Light stains almost all surfaces. Be careful when mixing the drink and carrying the cocktails.
