How to Install the TypePad Button

TypePad buttons indicate your site is hosting on the blogging platform.

Micro-blogging platform TypePad offers a variety of TypePad buttons you can implement on your site. This indicates the site is hosted by TypePad and may bestow a certain legitimacy by association. TypePad offers eight different button options. Implementing any one is easy. It will go in your sidebar and tell people this is a TypePad site.

Instructions

1. Download the TypePad buttons collection from the TypePad website (link in Resources). When the folder finishes downloading, select the button you want.

2. Log into your TypePad account.

3. Click "Sidebar."

4. Click "Add module."

5. Click "Upload."

6. Select the button you want on your hard drive and click "Open."

7. Click "Insert image" to add the button image into the sidebar module.

8. Click "Save."
