How to Cancel a 1&1 Account
The 1&1 website allows its users to create websites and domains. If you want to cancel your 1&1 account you must cancel all of your domains and websites. The cancellation process is simple; once you close your account you will no longer be able to access any of the information you had in your account or through any of your domains.

Go to the 1&1 cancellation page at cancel.1and1.com and log in to your account. Enter your account and password and click "Login."

Locate and click the "Cancellation" link at the top of the following page. Select the package -- or packages -- that contain the domain name of the 1&1 accounts you want to cancel and click "Continue."

Go down to the domain you want to cancel and select "End Domain Contract" from the drop down menu. From the second drop down menu, choose the time you want to cancel your 1&1 account, such as immediately or in 30 days. Repeat the process if you have multiple accounts on 1&1 to cancel.

Review the summary page to ensure all of the 1&1 accounts you wish to cancel are shown and click "Confirm." Check your email and click on the cancellation email sent to you to finalize the cancellation process.
