How to Install Adium Chat Styles on a Mac
Adium is a freeware message program for the Mac OS X that allows users to connect to a variety of different instant messaging services with one program. Beyond connecting to different IM services, Adium also has a variety of chat styles that users can download to personalize their chatting experience. The different themes change the style of the chat window in Adium.

Go to the Adium Message Styles website (see Resources.)

Select the Adium Message Style you want to download for your Mac OS X. Click on the size of the file, which is located at the right side of the page, to download the file.

Select "Open" from the pop-up window that asks you to choose an application to open the style download with. Select Adium from your application's menu, and then press "Open." The download usually only takes between 10 to 30 seconds on a DSL or cable modem or one to three minutes on a dial-up modem.

Click "Open Message Style" in the pop-up window that tells you the style was downloaded to Adium.

Select the downloaded style from the "Message Style" drop-down menu. Click the red button in the top left-hand corner of the window to close the window.
