How to Record With a Magnavox VCR
Magnavox makes many different VCR models, including standalone VCRs, DVD/VCR combos and VCR/DVR combos. If you have a Magnavox VCR, you can use it to record TV shows and movies. Every VCR model is different. However, they all have some things in common and recording programs on Magnavox VCRs is similar no matter which model you have.

Press the red "Record" button on your Magnavox VCR's remote control. This will record the program currently playing.

Press the "Record" button on your Magnavox VCR unit, which also records the current program.

Press "Program" on your remote. Use the arrow buttons and numbers, if your remote has them, to enter a day, start time, finish time and TV channel to record. Your Magnavox VCR will record at the time you enter.

Tips & Warnings
If the VCR is not recording the program you want, make sure that you have everything connected properly. Your cable or satellite feed should go directly into an input jack on the VCR. And output jack on the VCR should be connected to the TV's input jack.
