How to Disable a Caller ID Block on Verizon
Verizon's Caller ID Block feature allows Verizon account holders to have their cellphone numbers automatically blocked from being displayed on their call recipients' caller ID screens. When the block feature is enabled, the account holder's cellphone number will show up as "private" or "unavailable" on the recipient's screen. However, some institutions' telephone systems, such as 911, 1-800 and 1-900 numbers, do not allow incoming calls from those who have caller ID blocks on their phones. Disabling the caller ID block is simple and just takes an extra moment for each phone call.
