How to Get to the Network Setup Wizard

Windows 7 network setup wizard allows you to quickly establish a new network to connect to the Internet or a local network. This setup wizard also allows you to configure wireless routers or access points. Although the wizard is easy enough to use, locating it takes a little knowledge since Windows' integrated search feature is rather picky about the search terms that will pull up the wizard.

Control Panel

1. Click the "Start" button and select "Control Panel."

2. Click "Network and Internet" in the Control Panel.

3. Click "Network and Sharing Center."

4. Click "Set up a new connection or network" to launch the network setup wizard.

5. Click "Set up a new network" to configure a new router or access point or "Connect to the Internet" to access the Internet.

Search Feature

1. Click the "Start" button.

2. Type "set up a connection."

3. Click "Set up a connection or network" to launch the network setup wizard.
