How to Install XP on Partitioned Hard Drives

A hard drive partition is a part of your hard drive that has been sectioned off and formatted for use. The partition can be a small portion of the drive, or it could take up the entire hard drive capacity. You can install Windows XP onto a formatted partition through the normal installation process, choosing that particular partition for your installation drive.
