Your Web browser keeps track of all pages visited so far.

Web browsers keep track of all pages you visit. By bringing up the list of visited websites and finding the relevant entries on that list, you can go back to pages whose addresses you may have lost track of in the meantime. You can search the browsing history on your Web browser.

Instructions

  1. Google Chrome

      Click on the icon that looks like a wrench near the top-right corner of the window.

      Select "History."

      Enter keywords into the search box at the top left of the page, then press "Enter" to show only the remembered Web pages that match your search terms.

    Mozilla Firefox

      Click on "History."

      Select "Show All History."

      Enter keywords into the search box at the top right of the page, then press "Enter" to show only the remembered Web pages that match your search terms.

    Internet Explorer

      Click on "Favorites."

      Click on the "History" tab.

      Search the history by re-sorting the list of pages by date, site name, most frequently visited, or most recently visited. You sort on a field by clicking on the corresponding column header. You cannot search the history for keywords.
