Ustream TV is a website that allows users to view live broadcasts over the Internet. Featuring live concerts and sporting events, entertainment shows and news broadcasts, Ustream TV has many of the conveniences of subscribing to a cable provider. Once you have created a Ustream account, you will need to learn how to navigate through the Ustream pages and choose what content you want to view. You even can watch content you missed while it was broadcasting live.

Open your browser and type "ustream.tv" into the address bar and hit "Enter" to go to the website. Once the site loads, click on the "Login" link located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. If you haven't previously created an account, you can click the "Sign Up" link to the right of the "Login" link to create an account.

Click on the "On Air" button on the left side of the screen once you are logged in to view a list of available videos that are being streamed right now. Click on the arrow next to the button to bring up a pull-down menu where you can click on "Most Viewed" to see what is popular on Ustream.

Click on any of the category buttons at the top of the screen at any time to be taken to a list of videos that are in that category -- for example, Music. Clicking on the arrow next to a category name will bring up a menu where you can narrow down what you are looking for, such as clicking "Baseball" under the "Sports" category. In each category, you will find both live and saved videos.

Click on the "Search" bar at the top of the screen to begin entering in terms to search for if you are having trouble locating videos you want to watch from the menu. Type in keywords, such as "Bowling Tips," and hit "Enter." Alternatively, if you are looking for a specific artist, you can type the artist's name into this box and a list of available videos will appear.
