How to Install Add-Ons on Miranda IM
Miranda IM is a free, open-source instant messaging program for Windows. Miranda can connect to a wide variety of networks including AIM, Yahoo! and MSN. Miranda is designed to be extensible with plug-ins. In fact, each of the protocols Miranda IM includes is a bundled plug-in. You can download a variety of add-ons, or plug-ins, from Miranda's website. There's no graphical way to install them in the program itself, you have to place them in Miranda IM's plug-in directory.

Download an add-on from addons.miranda-im.org

Double-click the downloaded add-on's zip file on your computer.

Click "Start" and click "Computer."

Navigate to the folder you installed Miranda IM to, such as "C:\Program Files (x86)\Miranda IM" or "C:\Program Files\Miranda IM\" by default.

Double-click the "Plugins" folder in the Miranda IM folder.

Drag and drop the .dll file from the add-on's zip file into the Plugins folder.

Close Miranda IM and re-open it.

Tips & Warnings
You can verify an add-on is installed correctly by clicking the "M" menu in the Miranda IM window, clicking "Options," clicking "Plugins" at the left side of the options window and looking for hte name of the add-on in the plug-ins list.
