How to Block a Person From Sending You an Email Via Hotmail
Whether you no longer want to hear from an old contact or are fed up with someone spamming you, you can adjust the settings in your Hotmail account to block incoming messages from a specific sender. With a few adjustments to your email account's "Options" menu, you'll soon find fewer annoying messages in your inbox.

Visit the Hotmail home page (hotmail.com) and log into your account by entering your email address and password in the designated boxes. Press "Sign in."

Click the "Options" menu. When the drop-down menu appears, click "More options..."

Click the "Safe and blocked senders" title, which is located under the "Preventing junk mail" header.

Click "Blocked senders" from the available options.

Type the email address of the person you want to block into the box below the header "Blocked email address or domain," then click "Add to list." Your work is automatically saved after you add the email address to your list, and you can return to your inbox by clicking "Go to inbox."

Tips & Warnings
If you've mistakenly added someone to your blocked list, you can visit the "Blocked email address or domain" list, click on an address in your blocked list and press "Remove from list."
