How to Install Flash Player 10 in an Opera 9 Browser

Opera 9 is an older version of the Web browser and includes support for blocking specific content, downloading torrent files and installing widgets that provide additional features to the browser. If you want to view certain websites, you'll need to install Adobe Flash Player for the content to play. Flash Player 10 includes support for Opera 9, and examples of Flash content include online videos, browser-based games and interactive website menus.

      Open Opera 9 and navigate to the Adobe Flash Player download page (get.adobe.com). Click "Download now" and click "Open" in the dialog box that appears. Opera 9 will download the file and automatically launch the setup wizard. Close Opera after the setup wizard opens.

      Click the box beside "I Have Read and Agree to the Terms of the Flash Player License Agreement" on the Flash installer window and click "Install."
