How to Delete WordPress From cPanel

If you have decided to convert your website from WordPress to another content management engine you might connect to the server via an FTP program and manually delete the WordPress installation. However, the front-end interface for the server -- cPanel -- may not allow you to install another content management engine because WordPress is still registered as being installed. Uninstall WordPress through the cPanel interface to free your server for another content management engine.
