How Can I Print Up a Monthly Checklist for Paying Bills?
Keeping track of your monthly bills can be a real challenge, but modern technology can make it a lot easier for you to manage. You can, for instance, use a ready made template to create a checklist for paying your monthly utility bills, credit card bills and other necessities. Or, if you prefer, you can build a customized spreadsheet from the ground up, then print that document and use it to track each of your monthly payments.

Gather all of your monthly bills and sort them by the due date. Open a spreadsheet program and create a list of column headings, including the name of the merchant, credit card or utility and the due date. Also leave a column to enter the amount of the monthly bill and the date that bill was paid.

Sort the spreadsheet by due date, with the earliest due date at the top of the form. Save the finished monthly bill paying checklist to your computer.

Click the "file" menu and choose "print preview" to see what your spreadsheet will look like on the printed page. Adjust the margins if necessary to keep the entire spreadsheet on a single page.

Click the "file" menu and choose "print" from the list. Choose the printer you want to use and send the document to the printer.

Hang the monthly bill paying checklist on your calendar or in another prominent location. Check off each bill as you pay it and enter the date each bill was paid and the amount of the payment.
