How to Find Out When Something Is Going to Arrive on eBay
Vacation guides, designer dresses, ancient coins and toys for parakeets rank among the items you'll find when shopping on eBay. The website allows buyers to purchase items on demand or win them in auctions. Before or after you buy, you can find out when something you purchase on eBay is going to arrive.

1
Check the item listing. When you review the listing for an item you want to purchase or bid on, look for the shipping information in the center column, below the price of the item. Click "See all details" to jump further down the page, where you'll see the "Estimated Delivery" heading. This gives you a range of dates during which your item is likely to arrive.

2
Look in your purchase history. If you've already won or purchased an item, hover over the "My eBay" link at the top-right side of any eBay page, then click "Purchase History." Find the item you're concerned about and look for a tracking number. Click the tracking link to see the status of your item. If no track number is displayed, open the listing to review the estimated delivery as noted in the previous step.

Contact the seller. If you can't find an estimated delivery date for the item or if it is overdue, contact the seller to ask for the information. You can do this by opening the item's listing and clicking the seller's name in the right column of the page. On the next page that loads, look for the "Contact member" link in the left column, and click it. Follow the prompts to send the seller a message.
