Skate 2 is an EA game which allows players to not only build an imaginary career as a skateboarder, but also to step off of the board and wander the virtual city on foot. The hippy flip is a more technical skateboard maneuver requiring precise timing and the perfect handrail. A hippy flip is basically a flip trick -- double kickflip, triple kickflip, 360 flip or many others -- in which the skateboard flips under a rail and the skateboarder jumps over the rail before landing back on the board.

Instructions

1. Approach the handrail you wish to hippy flip at a slow or medium speed.

2. Ollie with precise timing to allow your character's feet enough clearance over the rail.

3. Execute a double kickflip or similar flip trick once in mid-air by holding the analog stick, not simply flicking it -- may be combined with a 180 degree turn to help clear the rail.
