How to Make Your Netgear Router Go to WEP

Netgear manufactures routers designed for home and small business networks. Netgear wireless routers support different levels of wireless encryption including Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP). Although WEP encryption is no longer considered a secure wireless encryption method, some older wireless clients can only use WEP security. You can make your Netgear router use WEP encryption by logging into its Web-based interface and configuring the router to use this particular encryption method.
