How to Connect a SpeedStream 5100 DSL Modem
All DSL ISPs provide a DSL modem as part of a self-installation kit in order to connect to the DSL Internet Network. Modems such as the SpeedStream 5100 connect to a PC and use standard telephone lines to provide faster Internet speeds than regular dial-up or ISBN connections. The kits also include everything you need, such as cables and plugs, to connect the modem to the computer and the Internet.
