How to Remove a TomTom Go 910 Connector
The TomTom Go 910 is one of the simplified versions of the TomTom automotive navigation devices from the "Go" series. The TomTom Go 910 connects to your PC through a USB wire with a connector on the end that plugs into the device itself. The connector is actually a mini-USB, though not as small as the ones typically used for digital cameras and cell phones.

Open "TomTom Home." Click "Start," "Programs," and then double-click the TomTom Home icon. TomTom Home is the proprietary software used to manage the files on your TomTom Go 910.

Click "Device" in the toolbar.

Click "Disconnect Device" under the "Device" tab.

Grasp the USB connector inserted into your TomTom Go 910's base, and gently slide it out.
