Adobe Illustrator 10 Installation

Adobe Illustrator is a software program that is designed to create various types of artwork for use with digital and print projects. Features of the program include vector drawing, various brush selections, gradient options and different types of resolution effects. Two ways to install Adobe Illustrator 10 are to use the installation disc or by installing a program update file. You can download the program update file directly from Adobe.

Instructions

Using the Installation Disc

1. Insert the installation disc for Adobe Illustrator 10 into the CD/DVD drive for your computer. Wait for the Setup Wizard window to appear.

2. Click the "Next" button and then follow the instructions on each screen to install the program.

3. Click the "Finish" button when the installation is complete. Double-click the Adobe Illustrator icon to run the program.

Install Program Update

1. Go to the Adobe Illustrator 10.0.3 update web page.

2. Click the "Proceed to Download" button to begin. Click the "Download Now" button and then save the installation file to your desktop.

3. Double-click the "ai10_0_3.exe" file to install the update. This will run the Setup Wizard.

4. Click the "Next" button and then follow the instructions on the screen to install the program.

5. Double-click the Adobe Illustrator icon to run the program.

Tips & Warnings

• If the Setup Wizard does not start automatically, you need to double-click the "setup.exe" file found on the installation disc.
