How to Tag Someone on AIM
Lifestream is a social aggregator hosted by AOL that allows you to connect all your social networks in one place. Though your social network activity is collected in one place where all of your AIM friends can see, you can only tag users in the Twitter account. You can do this through "@" replies just like you would on the Twitter social networking site. To do this you need to know your friend's Twitter handle.

Visit the AOL Lifestream homepage and log in using your AIM username and password. You can also access Llifestream after logging into AIM with your user name and password. Click the "Lifestream" tab.

Type "@" in the text box at the top of the page or window.

Type the user's Twitter name after the "@", such as "@johnsmith". Your friend is then tagged in the post on AIM.
