How to Get the Sidecar for the "Mechano-Hog"
With the release of Cataclysm, Horde engineers make Mechano-Hogs, a type of motorcycle. The motorcycle is one of the few mounts in the game that two people can ride together. Obtaining this mount takes a large amount of gold. The exact amount depends on auction house prices. Those who are miners gather some of the material themselves. Those who plan to find someone to make this mount need to save gold. Engineers have the ability to make most of the materials.

Ask in the trade chat by typing "/2" into your chat box or ask guild mates by pressing "/g" if anyone can make the mount. Engineers at level 450 can learn the schematic.

Purchase the materials from the auction house. According to WoW Head, you need: 12 Titansteel Bar, 40 Handful of Cobalt Bolts, two Arctic Fur, Salvaged Iron Golem Parts, eight Goblin-Machined Piston and Elementium-Plated Exhaust Pipe. Find these items on the auction house, or ask the engineer if he can make them for you if you pay him.

Stand next to the engineer. Click on him to bring up the avatar. Click on the avatar to reveal the drop-down menu and select trade. Drag the materials from your bags into the trade window. Trade the items.

Open a trade window with the engineer once he finishes crafting the item. Type in an amount of gold to tip the engineer for his services. The amount you tip is up to you, but 100 gold is the average. The engineer puts the mount in the trade window. Click trade to complete the transaction.

Click on the item in your bag to learn it. Open the abilities window and click on the mount tab. Select the icon and click "Mount."

Ask someone to click on the mount to ride it. The sidecar appears after they click on it.
