As a Comcast cable subscriber, you can manage your account online. Using the Comcast website, you can make payments, change subscription plans and contact customer service and tech support. Logging into your online Comcast account requires the password you created when you configured your account; however, if you have forgotten this password, you can reset it quickly and easily. Resetting your password allows you to create a new one.

Go to the Comcast "Forgot your password" page (see Resources).

Enter your Comcast ID or email address in the open box, and then enter the security code provided in the "Security code" box.

Click "Next." Enter the answer to the security question you provided when you created your Comcast account, then enter your zip code. Click "Next."

Enter the new password you want to use, then enter it again to confirm. Click "Finish" to reset your password.
