How to Draw an Ugly Monkey
Get your pen, pencil and paper ready and follow these easy steps to draw an ugly monkey. Monkeys by nature are funny looking animals, and like drawing funny or ugly faced people, the shapes and techniques needed to achieve an ugly monkey can be learned by anyone. You don't have to be Leonardo da Vinci to create art. If you can draw a circle, by following a few simple steps, you can draw an ugly monkey in no time at all.

1
Start by drawing a circle in the middle of your paper. It doesn't matter if it is perfect. You want the monkey to be ugly, so a little oblong is better. This will serve as the basic shape of the head. Make sure there is enough room on either side of the head for the ears to be added later.

2
Add a nose by drawing a smaller circle in the middle of the head, about a third of the way down. Inside this circle, you'll need to add nostrils. You can make small, circular nostril, or large, oval flaring nostrils. To make sure the monkey is nice and ugly, make one of each. You can shade them in with your pencil.

Make the eyes the same way. Draw two similarly sized circles just above the nose, slightly spaced apart. For the perfect ugly monkey, make one pupil large and the other small, just like the nostrils. Make sure they are facing in wild directions, too. Shade the pupils in with your pencil. Over each eye, you can draw eyebrows, in a v-shape if you want him to look mad, or in crazy directions for extra ugliness.

4
Draw a wide, distorted circle for a mouth. Inside, you can draw ugly teeth by spacing out different sized rectangles along the top and bottom. From the corner of each side of the mouth, draw an arching line up to each side of the nose.

5
Attach ears by drawing a large "C" from the left side of the ugly monkey's head, and a backwards "C" on the other side. Repeat smaller versions inside each "C." For added effect, you can add tufts of hair shooting up around his head by scribbling a couple of "W"s together. Your ugly monkey should be complete.
