How to Unsubscribe From a Facebook Fan Page

Fan pages are profiles for organizations and interests instead of individuals.

Facebook fan pages let you connect to businesses, organizations and even concepts. When you click the "Like" button on a Facebook fan page or enter its name into the "Interests" section of your profile, the name of that page appears in your Info section. This also subscribes you to that page's updates, which then appear in your Facebook News Feed -- the page you see first when signing into Facebook. If you no longer want to see these updates, unsubscribing is a simple matter of "unliking" the page.

Instructions

1. Open a browser and navigate to the Facebook homepage at facebook.com. Sign in with the email address and password associated with your Facebook account.

2. Click the "Profile" link in the upper-right-hand corner of the page. This displays your Facebook Wall.

3. Click the "Info" link in the left sidebar of your Facebook profile. This displays all of your personal information, including the fan pages to which you are subscribed.

4. Scroll down until you see the fan page you want to unsubscribe from. This displays that page.

5. Scroll down until you see the "Unlike" link in the left sidebar of the fan page. Click that link to unsubscribe from the page.
