How to Remove Items From Menu Bars in Mozilla Firefox
Mozilla Firefox is the ideal Web browser to use if you enjoy customizing your online experience. With a seemingly endless array of add-ons, tools and themes, it is possible to make your browser behave exactly the way you want. You are even able to customize Firefox's menu bar by adding, removing or changing the position of icons. Removing items lets you keep only those that you truly need, creating a menu bar that looks less cluttered.

Launch the Firefox browser. Click on "View" at the top of the window.

Click on "Toolbars" and then "Customize." The Customize Toolbar window opens.

Click on the item you want to remove from the menu bar. Drag it from the menu bar into the Customize Toolbar window. Drag more icons here to remove them. Click "Done" when you are finished.

Tips & Warnings
If you later decide that you want to restore a removed icon, re-open the Customize Toolbar window. Click on and drag the desired item to the menu bar to place it there.
