How to Fix a Deleted Email Address
If you recently cleaned out your email address book and accidentally deleted an email address that you need, unfortunately you will not be able to undo your mistake. You will need to find the email address through alternate methods and then enter it again into your email address book. The main free email providers -- such as Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail -- provide a search function for email addresses.

Open your email account. Click the empty search box on the sidebar.

Type your friend's name or email address, and press "Enter." Your email program will return a list of past emails from your friend, to your friend or about your friend.

Open one or all of these emails. Scan the content of the emails -- including the "To," "From," "CC" fields and body of the email for the email address.

Open a new email message. Type the email address into the "To" box.
