How to Sign Up for Updated ESPN Mobile

EPSN Mobile is one of the best ways to keep up with sports news.

EPSN Mobile is a cellphone application designed to provide sports fanatics with up-to-the-minute sporting news, fantasy sports updates, and alerts via SMS text messaging and mobile Web. While the ESPN Mobile feature comes on many phones, you'll still need to sign up for the most current version. The ESPN Mobile sign-up can be done online. When you complete the EPSN Mobile sign-up, the updated version will automatically be configured to your phone.

Instructions

1. Open a web browser and navigate to the ESPN Mobile website.

2. Click the "Register" hyperlink at the top of the ESPN Mobile homepage.

3. Enter your date of birth and gender in the corresponding drop-down menus on the ESPN Mobile Sign-Up page.

4. Type your name and email address in the required text fields, and then provide your 5-digit ZIP code.

5. Scroll down the Sign-Up page, and create an ESPN Member Name and password for your account. Then enter your mobile information. (Your mobile information will consist of your 10-digit mobile number and cellphone carrier.)

6. Go to the bottom of the page. Complete the word verification, and click "Submit" to finish the sign-up. The updated version of ESPN Mobile will automatically be linked directly to your phone based on the mobile information you provided.

Tips & Warnings

• If you've already signed up for ESPN Mobile text messaging alerts, you can also sign up for the full ESPN Mobile experience with even more upgraded features. Scroll down the page, and click the hyperlink that reads, "UPGRADE to the Full ESPN Alerts' Experience."

• ESPN Mobile is a free service. But charges may apply if you do not have SMS text messaging on your cellphone plan.
