How to Look Up Textbooks by Course Number
When you register for classes, you usually will have to purchase a specific textbook for the course. Even if you know the name of your textbook, you still may need to look up the exact version because textbooks are updated with news edition throughout the years. Before you purchase a new or used textbook, look up the textbook online using your course number.

Log into your campus account and print out your class schedule.

Locate the course number on your schedule for the class for which you need to buy the textbook.

Log into your campus bookstore website, and find the "Search" field. Select the option to search by course number.

Enter the course number for your class in the appropriate field, and click "Search."

Wait for the results to populate on the screen. Write down the title of the book, the ISBN number, the author's name and the correct edition of the book in case you decide to purchase the textbook from another vendor.

You can also contact your campus bookstore and provide the course number for your class to the clerk to retrieve the textbook information.
