How to Get to the Ladder in Taverley Dungeon
Taverley Dungeon is a dungeon in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game "RuneScape." A ladder in the depths of the dungeon allows access to Water Obelisk Island. The Water Obelisk is used to charge the Water Orb needed to create a Water Battlestaff. There are many high-level monsters in the dungeon. You do not need to fight them, but many will be aggressive, so you should be well-equipped and able to withstand any attacks that are made as you pass.

Getting the Dusty Key

Travel to Taverley, which is northwest of Falador.

Walk a short distance south of Taverley.

Click on the ladder to enter the dungeon.

Follow the tunnel north, east, then south. You will pass various monsters, including Ghosts, Black Knights and Poison Scorpions.

Continue south until you reach the jail area.

Kill the guard outside the jail cell. Pick up the key he drops.

Enter the cell and talk to Velrak the Explorer. Do not ask him for a reward and he will give you a dusty key.
Reaching the Ladder

Go north until you reach the Poison Scorpions. Cross the bridge to the west, then the bridge to the north.

Go north until you reach the Lesser Demons. Open the gate to the west with the dusty key.

Go west past the Blue Dragons, then south until you reach the lava.

Go west, then north past the Black Demons.

Take the northeast fork of the tunnel, and go past the Poison Spiders.

Take the north fork of the tunnel, then go west past the Hell Hounds.

Click the ladder to climb it.

Tips & Warnings
There are two shortcuts from the starting area that will cut out a lot of the dungeon. You need Agility skill level of 70 and 80 to use them.
The Anti-Dragon Shield will help you get past the blue dragons.
