Instructions

  1. S'mores Snack Mix

    • 1

Pour 6 cups of bear-shaped graham cracker cookies and 6 cups of miniature marshmallows in assorted colors into a large mixing bowl and stir to combine the ingredients.

    • 2

Chop 18 miniature milk chocolate bars into chunks, approximately 1/2 an inch square, toss them into the bowl and mix well.

    • 3

Divide the mixture into 12 plastic bags with zippered tops, seal the treat bags and deliver to the children.

    Squeezable Version of S'mores

    • 4

Drop a cinnamon graham cracker into a plastic bag with a zipper top. Repeat with 11 more bags. Seal each bag and roll a heavy glass or rolling pin over the crackers to turn the crackers into crumbs. Shake the crumbs to the bottom of the bag and open each bag.

    • 5

Spoon out 1 tbsp. of marshmallow crème into each bag so that the crème is near the bottom of the bag to prevent the sticky ingredient from getting in the zipper on the bag.

    • 6

Squirt approximately 2 tbsp. of chocolate syrup into each bag and seal the bags.

    • 7

Give the treat bags out to 12 children and have the children squish the mixture into itself.

    • 8

Cut a corner out of each bag so the children can squirt the squeezable s'mores into their mouths.

Tips & Warnings

  • Replace the miniature marshmallows with 6 cups of gingerbread men marshmallows, if available at your grocery, for a zing of flavor and the interesting shape of the marshmallows.
