How to Edit Text Files in CentOS

If you are new to CentOS, the Linux distribution based on Redhat Line Enterprise, then you may not realize where all of your basic applications are located. In CentOS, the Text Editor application, is stored in the Accessories menu. This is a very basic, plain-text editor that allows you to create text documents as well as code various scripting languages (as long as they are plain-text codes).
