How to Unblock Photos on Mozilla Firefox

To make webpages load faster, you can configure your Mozilla Firefox browser to block photos from loading. This allows you to see the text of an article without waiting for large images to download. Blocking photos is especially helpful if you're using a slow Internet connection. If you later decide you want images to appear, unblock the images in Firefox's "Options" panel.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the "Alt" key to view the Firefox menu bar, if it is not already visible. Click "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Options."

    • 2

Click the "Content" tab of the "Options" window. Check the box next to "Load images automatically" in the top section of the window.

    • 3

Click "Exceptions" to the right of "Load images automatically." Click any individual sites for which Firefox is blocking photos, then click "Remove Site." Click "Remove All Sites" to remove all sites from the exceptions.

    • 4

Click "Close" to close the "Exceptions" window. Click "OK" to close the "Options" window and unblock photos in Mozilla Firefox.
