1
Decide if you want the children to ride next to each other or in a line. For many parents or care providers, this comes down to personal preference, but in many cases there is a practical element ' side-by-side strollers can be too wide to get through many doorways.
-
2
Look for a stroller with flexible seating and reclining arrangements ' the seats should recline individually, so that not all the children have to be in the same position. This is useful if one child falls asleep and needs to recline, while the others are still wide awake.

3
Check the stroller canopy to find out if it is adjustable for each child, or if the entire canopy moves as a unit.
-
4
Test the weight and maneuverability of the stroller. Can you lift the stroller in and out of your vehicle without straining? Can you push it uphill with a full load? Is it easy to turn a tight corner, or do you have to make a couple of attempts? Are the handles positioned comfortably for you, in terms of their width and height?
-
5
Check the maximum weight load ' will your three children still be able to ride in the stroller when they are toddlers or preschoolers?
-
6
Fold the stroller up, and find out if it fits into your vehicle, and whether you can remove it and set it up quickly and easily.
-
7
Look for storage capacity. Is there an adequate bag or basket where you can store diapers and wipes, cups or bottles, snacks, and purchases? Three children require quite a lot of paraphernalia.

Tips & Warnings
Exchange the seating positions of all the children frequently, so that their view changes, and so that they aren't always turning in the same direction to look at the others.
Never balance infant car seats on a stroller seat unless the stroller is designed to carry them, safely clipped or strapped in.
