How Can I Get Skype?
Skype is a voice-over-IP phone and messaging service. Offering features such as unlimited Skype-to-Skype calling, video chat, voicemail and flat-rate calling to landline and mobile phones around the world, the service is available on Windows, Mac, Linux and mobile smartphone platforms. Getting Skype involves more than simply installing the core Skype program, however; users need to create a unique Skype ID to begin using the service. To make calls to landline or mobile phones, Skype credits must also be purchased.
