How to Write a Heading for a Friendly Letter
A friendly letter projects an informal tone and contains five separate parts. The organization of this type of letter makes it simple for the reader to obtain important information at a glance without searching for details. One of the parts of a friendly letter -- the heading -- generally contains three lines, which consist of the sender's address and the date of the letter. The placement of this heading as well as the information within are equally important because it immediately lets the recipient of the letter know where the letter came from.
